Polyester DTY (Draw texturing yarn), that is, stretched textured yarn, is a finished yarn that is stretched continuously or simultaneously on a texturing machine and processed by false twisting. Among them, the dyeing M rate is one of the important indicators to test the quality of DTY. The uniformity of dyeing will directly reflect on the woven fabric. Polyeater DTY processing is the last process in the polyester fiber /synthetic fiber production process. There are many factors affecting the polyester dyeing M rate, including polyester raw materials, polyester spinning process conditions, polyester DTY process settings and polyester fiber production equipment. Among them, the fluctuation of Tio2 (titanium dioxide) concentration will also affect the polyester yarn dyeing performance.
The depth of polyester fiber dyeing is affected by the fluctuation of the concentration of matting agent in polyester raw materials. Increasing the concentration of matting agent increases the roughness of the polyester fiber surface. Since Tio2 acts as a nucleating agent, as the concentration of matting agent increases, the crystallization time of fiber formation is shortened, and the crystallization, the faster the speed, the greater fluctuation of Tio2 central value will affect the polyester dyeing rate and uniformity of polyester DTY dyeing. For example, when the concentration of Tio2 in the raw material fluctuates, the spun polyester fiber will show L silk when dyed at the part with high Tio2 concentration, and the part with low concentration will be D silk, F silk may appear if the concentration changes frequently.Therefore, all textile companies pay great attention to the choice of titanium dioxide.
